Based on the Emmy Award-winning Saturday morning educational cartoon series, SCHOOL HOUSE ROCK LIVE JR. was presented on Thursday, May 12, 2016, to school students at Oneonta, and two public performances on Friday and Saturday, May 13 and 14, 2016.
Lori McKoy reports that the production was a success! "Considering one of the major roles (Tom) is a teacher, we were fortunate to have 7th grade math teacher, Bradley Mitchell, to take on this character." Mr. Mitchell is young and very popular with the students and made the show even more of a success.
All the cast members were extremely talented and the fact they enjoyed being onstage was very evident at each performance. This was the first opportunity for many to participate in such a production...a Broadway musical! The cast members are pictured below.
